A pale gold silk lehenga for her wedding. The set was rendered with motifs derived from archival Kimkhwāb brocades and 18th century persian carpets; meticulously hand embroidered on the silk ground using marodi ka kaam, dabka and nakshi zardozi, gota kachi patti, hand cut metal sequins, pearls, hand made crystals and semi precious stores. It was paired with a hand-woven zari dupatta from Benaras, that is layered with an intricate handcrafted bandhej pattern, kasab marodi embroidery, resham zardozi and hand-sewn sequin buttis. The look was completed with a lush red silk organza odhna.
