INSPIRATION STORY
LEHENGA
“I am like the heaven, like the moon, like a candle by your glow; I am all reason, all love, all soul, by your soul. ~ Jalāl al-Dīn Rūmī. Tales of romance that are woven in austerity and pathos. Portraits of a by-gone era, inspired by the erstwhile royal families of Oudh, Sindh, Lahore and Baluchistan feature decadent lehengas, kalidars and shararas that take one back to an era of unrequited love, longing, and romantic moon-lit trysts. Each ensemble from the Mehtab collection delicately weaves a story of its own, layered within the intricate textures and hand crafted embroideries.LEHENGA“I am like the heaven, like the moon, like a candle by your glow; I am all reason, all love, all soul, by your soul. ~ Jalāl al-Dīn Rūmī.
