A pale frosted blue tulle saree handcrafted with sequins and paillettes. It features geometric artworks derived from vintage art-deco textiles, intricate cutwork and is edged with a scalloped Chantilly lace. The saree is paired with a hand embroidered sequin and crystal blouse featuring an elaborate beadwork "Portrait of a Lady".
Note: All RAH outfits comprise of a three component set. Accessories worn by model including potli and additional dupatta/veil are not included. The model is wearing a size small which is meant to fit chest size 34 inches

Firangi Mahal, evokes the glamour of the 1920s and 30s, an era when the Indian royals imbibed a western take on their sartorial style, doling out extensive commissions to European design houses. It was a time when the world of celluloid took over the collective consciousness, with stories and soirees dipped in fantasy starring the likes of Devika Rani, Naseem Banu, Zubeida Begum and Patience Cooper.
Diaphanous tulle sarees in hues of soft ivory and champagne, pale pinks and vivid blues; dripping with paillettes, sequins and crystals are paired with intricately beaded blouses, all layered with a sense of nostalgia for the by-gone.
