  • Chest - Measure around the widest part of your chest, over the apex points. Ensure the tape measure is held parallel to the floor.
  • Waist - Measure around the narrowest part of your waist. On most bodies, the narrowest measurement lies an inch or two above the belly button.
  • Hip - Measure around the widest part of your hip, i.e., around the butt. Again, ensure the tape measure is held parallel to the floor.
  • Bicep - Measure around the top of your arm where it is widest, right at the armpit.

    Colour: Mustard
    A mustard and russet hued georgette kaftan paired with a deep maroon velvet salwar. The base print has been recreated from archival 19th century resist-dyed cotton fragments and the embroideries, rendered using kasab-dori and resham marodi ka kaam, sequins and pearls, are referenced from vintage Kashmiri shawls. The salwar is adorned with sucha gota textures gleaned from sacred geometry.

    The Kārawān collection draws inspiration from folk arts and textile crafts found in far flung tribal belts spread across the undivided Indian sub-continent and is a functional prêt line with each garment being a journey on its own, having its own story that comes with subtle twists and surprises. The collection hearkens back to the glory days of the erstwhile princely states of Patiala, Kapurthala, Gujranwala, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Oudh, Kashmir and Sindhh. Various techniques and elements are juxtaposed over one another in each ensemble yet there is a sense of harmony and balance that renders the collection with a certain aura of ease and timelessness.
