    Color: Mauve
    An earthy mauve georgette kurta paired with pants. The embroideries, referenced from an archival abha (robe) are rendered using kasab-dori and resham marodi ka kaam, sequins and pearls. They are layered over a base print that is derived and recreated from a mid 19th century resist-dyed cotton fragment . The look is completed with an embroidered silk dupatta.

The collection hearkens back to the glory days of the erstwhile princely states of Patiala, Kapurthala, Gujranwala, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Oudh, Kashmir and Sindhh. Various techniques and elements are juxtaposed over one another in each ensemble yet there is a sense of harmony and balance that renders the collection with a certain aura of ease and timelessness.
