SPECIFICATIONS
a dove grey silk sherwani. The embroidery motifs are derived from 17th century Mughal artworks which are rendered with resham zardozi, kasab-dori Marodi ka kaam, sequins, and pearls. It is layered over an embroidered silk kurta and a pair of slim pants. The kurta features resham and sucha gota textures gleaned from sacred geometry which are overlayed with marodi ka kaam. The look is completed with a pair of handcrafted shoes. -

The Kaleidoscope collection finds its roots in old portraits of erstwhile royals hailing from Kapurthala, Patiala and Baluchistan as well as fragments of vintage jewellery, Mughal inlay work and the age old technique of jaali ka kaam.
