INSPIRATION STORY
Lehenga set
Incandescent spotlights and surreal settings, sceneries awash with props, curios and collectibles, the sparkling energy of taking the stage by storm interspersed with moments of reflection and solitude in the theater wings before rushed curtain calls and standing ovations… The world of an art-deco 1940’s opera house, reimagined and recreated, is the essence of The Rose and The Nightingale.
The collection is a melting pot of artistic influences and hand crafted couture. A riot of motifs- vases brimming with floral bouquets, rococo-esque gilted frames and floral vines, Palampore chintz, Chinoserie gardens and fantastical birds along with elements from sacred geometry, theatre and the performing arts are used in a painterly fashion on lehengas and shararas that are dipped in hues of glistening golds, lush reds and vivid pinksLehenga setIncandescent spotlights and surreal settings, sceneries awash with props, curios and collectibles, the sparkling energy of taking the stage by storm interspersed with moments of reflection and solitude in the theater wings before rushed curtain calls and standing ovations… The world of an art-deco 1940’s opera house, reimagined and recreated, is the essence of The Rose and The Nightingale.
